Introduction to weight loss and body transformations

Recently I started a new program with myself and clients across all platforms called the Fat Loss in 40 program. The goal of the program is simple:

Lose as much fat as possible in 40 days.

Notice I didn’t say weight loss. Weight loss and fat loss, while they can be similar, are also very different. The easiest way for someone to lose weight is very simple: cut off your leg. Done. You lost weight.

Fat loss on the other hand, is about properly planned out strength training, with strategic cardiovascular implementation and a nutrition program that fits your lifestyle and gets you the results you want.

That is simple as well, it is just no very easy.

That is where people tend to get lost or give up on a body transformation journey. They lose sight over the fact that losing weight is a very simple task: eat less and move more. But what they fail to realize is that doing so is not easy. You will inevitably have to make choices that will challenge you to your core. Are you willing to wake up early when the alarm goes off and go to the gym? Are you willing to say no to alcohol and French fries? Are you willing to prioritize sleep and hydration?

Those choices are simple but for the majority of people it is not easy. They have comfort zones that they don’t want to break free from. They make excuses that keep holding them back from reaching their goals. They are not willing to do the easy things, which are usually the hardest.

I chose to make the hard (aka easy) choices

In order to get the transformation that you want, you need to really look at yourself in the mirror and ask what are you willing to do? People like to stay in their comfort zone about as much as they like to change, which is usually not that much. Most people I would say have good intentions but fail at staying disciplined enough to realize that the hard stuff is really quite easy when you stop giving yourself an excuse and start giving yourself some love.

That is when change truly happens.
